There’s lots of excitement this weekend in Mount Washington with the annual Run for Roch 5K race this Saturday morning and the Art marketplace soon to follow. The Race begins at 8:45 am in front of the upper station of the Monongahela Incline and finishes up by the parking deck on Shiloh Street. Its a tough race, full of hills and steep grades and the runners need all the encouragement they can. Come and pick your spot along Grandview or Shiloh Street to cheer them on. The Race will have a ceremony immediately following on the parking deck on Shiloh Street until about 11am and the marketplace will begin soon thereafter.
Artists will be showing up a bit early to catch some of the crowds and may finish up a bit early due to the rain that will move in in the late afternoon. Sunday is calling for some rain as well so if you happen to make it for the market and no one is here, be sure to check back on a sunnier day as our event is always weather permitting.
