Howard Todd of Grand Brew Cafe and Di Fiore’s Ice Cream De-lite made headlines again in this latest article from the Tribune Review.   Much is said locally about this hardworking man, but one can’t deny his passion for his businesses, or for the success of the MWCDC’s business district development efforts through the Main Street program.

With out this man’s persistence and generosity our program wouldn’t have been as sucessful as it is.  Aside from his donations of coffee and pastries for a variety of meetings, he has allowed unlimited use of his water supply to keep Shiloh Street’s planters, landscaped areas and trees alive.  Not to mention, he is always there with something cold to drink when he sees volunteers helping to keep the street looking its best.  He and his hardworking wife Patty, were also the first people to step up and invest in the renovation their storefront and open up Grand Brew, when the Main Street program began, in the hopes that other would follow suit and do the same.
