This MWCDC Mainstreet fundraiser has been expanded from a “Taste of Shiloh Street” to a “Tast of the Mount” due to the great turnout.  Each purchase of a wristband goes to benefit the community through beautification, marketing, or additional special events.  Cost is only $15 for one or $50 for 5 wristbands.  Tickets are available in the MWCDC office located at 301 Shiloh Street, Pittsburgh PA 15211 or by calling 412-481-3220 x 201.  If you are unable to contact us during business hours you can purchase your wristbands online at www.tasteofthemount.eventbrite.com

 On Sunday, June 5th, please join us in Mount Washington for an exciting event.  Wild Art Wild Trails 2011 is a hands on event for all ages.  In addition to exploring the trails in Emerald View Park, there will be a climbing wall and geocaching.  There will be music, food and fun while doing a hillside clean-up and giving artists the material to turn trash into cool art!

Mount Washington is the place to be for Cinco de Mayo 2011, with our own Latin inspired neighborhood hang out.  Havana Tapas and Wine bar is a great place to hang out with friends this Thursday.  You can get into the Cinco de Mayo mood and enjoy the open doors that lead out on to Shiloh Street.  Definitely feel like you are in Havana, but be a block away from scenic Grandview Avenue.

A Taste of Shiloh Street is a fundraiser of the MWCDC Main Street Committee.*  

As a thank you, ticket (wristband) holders will be entitled to specials and discounts at participating businesses.  Come join us and show your community pride on Monday evening, May 2, 2011 from 5-10pm.  Mount Washington.  T-Shirts will also be for sale for $15 the night of the event to help us meet our goals while creating a festive atmosphere for the event.   Tickets are available at the MWCDC office M-F, 9 -4 at 301 Shiloh Street, Pittsburgh Pa 15211 for $15. We will take a credit card over the phone as well, by calling Greg at 412-481-3220 x 203.  Tickets will also be sold that night for $20.
